Fine Art & Stock Photography showing the World from a Unique perspective
Taken in NYC, 2002.
The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886, designated as a National Monument in 1924 and restored for her centennial on July 4, 1986.
This post is my homage to Freedom in all its forms.
This is an original artwork produced for my photo exhibition, “Por Aí“, using the photography collages from the “Greetings From” series (2011) and an envelope and some stamps. It makes reference to postcards and Postal Art.
A few weeks ago I started attending a stencil workshop. This was part of my first assignment but I never finished it. Maybe someday I’ll do it.
On the other hand, after having Mr. Dean drawn, Multigraphias inspired me to take this picture, where I mix the original artwork, my stencil-to-be piece and photography.
Contemporary visual art, that’s it.
This is an original artwork produced for my photo exhibition, “Por Aí“, using the photography “Paris: Sente IV” (Paris/2010) and Gericault’s “Le Radeau de la Méduse” frame.
Today’s post also honors the end of the World War I, on June 28, 1919, when the Treaty of Versailles was signed in France.
This is an original artwork produced for my photo exhibition, “Por Aí“, using the photography “São Paulo: Mater” (São Paulo/2011) and “Geneva: 2, 4 Windows” (Geneva/2010).
