Paris: Eifel Towers

The Eiffel Tower (French: La Tour Eiffel) is an 1889 iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris that has become both a global icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tallest building in Paris, it is the most-visited paid monument in the world; millions of people ascend it every year. Named for its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the tower was built as the entrance arch to the 1889 World’s Fair.

  1. What a funny idea :o) It makes me smile.
I love the blured original eiffel tower in the background. It´s an excellent frame for the models in the foreground.

    • Hi Lightbrush, I’m really glad you liked it. It took me a while to identify it and I also love the result. The models are indexes of the Tower itself, that is also an index of a city. Semiotics².
      Take care,
      J.
